Contribution
Limitations: An individual, association, unincorporated
association, corporation, political club, Federal PAC or Federal
candidate committee is limited to $4,000 in contributions
to any Maryland candidate, including all of the candidate's
authorized treasurers and committees. These entities are also
limited to $4,000 to any other political committee, including
PACS, in any four year cycle. In addition, a contributor may
not contribute more than $10,000 in the aggregate in the 4
year cycle.
Contributions
may not be accepted (or solicited) by the Governor, the Lieutenant
Governor, the Attorney General, the Comptroller, a member
of the General Assembly, or a person acting on behalf of these
individuals during the Legislative Session (which annually
begins on the second Wednesday in January and continues for
90 days)
